Wow! Time. Is. Flying. Sam turned SIX MONTHS this month! In some ways I can't believe that he's already this old, but in other ways it feels like ages ago that we were putting the final touches on his nursery, anxious for his arrival.
Sam has been up to quite a bit lately, spreading his wings a little here and there, and it feels good! He took his first trip to the Nature Museum today. His favorite thing that he saw there was a friendly black rooster that followed us around the butterfly pavilion. He also liked seeing a big stuffed bear with its mouth open, and some turtles swimming in an aquarium. Oh, and he really liked seeing all the other kids there. It's like he wanted to shout out, "Hey! I'm Sam!" :) It's great timing to be interested in other kids because he will be meeting his cousins Rob, Claire, and John this week for the first time. I can't wait for him to meet his lifelong buddies!
